The Group is exposed to three specific growth trends within the global asset management industry, namely: the expansion of alternative assets - PwC predicts that alternative assets' share of global assets under management will reach 15% by 2025 (from 12% in 2016); the continued growth in outsourcing of non-core services as a cost-saving measure to combat the effects of fee compression and competition; and increasing regulatory and governance requirements, necessitating specialist advice.

An experienced team

CEO Matthew Hudson has over 30 years’ private equity experience as a lawyer, practitioner and investor. CFO Peter Connell has worked in financial and professional services for 30 years and COO Odi Lahav is a trained actuary and was previously head of the Alternatives Investment Group at a major international rating agency. The Group’s wider senior management team comprises individuals with extensive expertise in the fields of law, fund management solutions, administration, investment advisory, marketing and investment banking.

The Group can reduce the number of engagements that its clients need to manage through acting as a single outsourced provider of legal, administration, regulatory, advisory, fund structuring and other middle-and-back office functions. The broad range of these services enables strong client relationships, which are supported by the trusted advisor status of the Group’s legal and advisory services.
